How to watch Texas baseball on Saturday in the NCAA Austin Regional

No. 1 Texas took care of business on Friday by defeating No. 4 Southern University, 11-0, in the opening game of the NCAA Austin Regional.

Tristan Stevens dominated on the mound for the Longhorns, pitching seven innings with six strikeouts. Offensively, Texas’ Zach Zubia went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Ivan Melendez had a monster solo home run in the first inning, while Cam Williams hit a two-run shot out of the park in the eighth inning.

The Longhorns will now face the winner of No. 3 Fairfield and No. 2 Arizona State on Saturday. Considering the second game of the Austin Regional is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST on Friday, Texas won’t learn who their next opponent is until late Friday night.

If Texas is able to win on Saturday, they’ll play again on Sunday evening with a berth to the super regional on the line.
